He Saved 669 Children During The Holocaust… And He Doesn’t Know They’re Sitting Next To Him.

Image
Sir Nicholas Winton is a humanitarian who organized a rescue operation that saved the lives of 669 Jewish Czechoslovakia children from Nazi death camps, and brought them to the safety of Great Britain between the years 1938-1939. After the war, his efforts remained unknown. But in 1988, Winton’s wife Grete found the scrapbook from 1939 with the complete list of children’s names and photos. This is a clip of a video where Sir Nicholas Winton is sitting in an audience of Jewish Czechoslovakian people whom he saved 50 years before. SHARE this beautiful video with your friends and family ;)

9 Ways The World Works

Image
Nine Ways The World Works It’s just the way it is. 1.  Birthdays are NOT only one day, thank you very much. 2.  People rarely look as closely as you think they do. 3.  If you feel like you’re forgetting something, you probably are.   4.  If people seem like they have ulterior motives, they probably do. 5.  You can’t outrun your existential crisis forever. 6.  Mondays are specifically designed to be the worst. 7.  Exercise is all in how you define it. 8.  You can survive without love, but you definitely cannot survive without food. 9.  If you forget how much life can suck people will be there to remind you.

Disgusting Things EVERY Woman Does In Secret…

Image
There are certain things women do that men cannot understand. They find things like curling eyelashes with a gadget or pulling out ingrown hair as a form of self-torture. All this makes perfect sense to our sisterhood. Take a look at unusual and sometimes gross things the female species does. We are pretty sure some men also take part in some of these behaviours, they will just never admit it in public. I must confess, #6 is pure therapy. #1.  Never washing that blush brush you've been using for years. Yuk! That thing is really gross. #2.  Picking pimples in the car and not caring who sees you. PICKFEST! #3.  Lathering up and shaving all the hair off your body. You better hope no one sees you like that. #4.  Not pooping around your new boyfriend for about a year. He doesn't need to know you poop and also because you never know what could happen. #5.  Picking your nose in public places thinking no one sees you. Everyone sees you!

#12   Reasons Why Kids From The 60s And 70s Are Lucky To Be Alive. All of us have an older person in our lives that likes to start sentences with the phrase, "Back in my day..." Most of the time, they're referring to some idealized memory of the way the world used to be when they were young. However, if this post is any indication, "back in my day" refers to a world that was a lot more dangerous than it is now -- especially for little kids. #1.  Dangerous Toys Back in the day, toys were a lot more dangerous than they are now -- and had a lot more risks associated with playing with them. We're talking hot plates, noxious odors and sharp metal objects -- how did anyone make it out alive? #2.  No Seatbelts People didn't really buckle up back in the day, and children often rode in the front seat or on each other's laps. We're glad that things have gotten slightly safer on the roads. #3.  Front Seat Driving As we menti
